Dr. Nicole Edwards, PhD
Founder & Licensed Mental Health Counselor
*NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR COUPLES THERAPY
Hi, I’m Nicole, Founder of SolRiver Counseling, and I currently work with individual women and couples seeking deeper, healthier relationships. I am a relational therapist advancing toward certification as a Relational Life Therapy (RLT) practitioner, trained in the model developed by Terry Real. While I am not yet certified, my clinical work is deeply grounded in the RLT framework. Unlike traditional couples therapy, RLT is not neutral—I actively intervene in support of fairness, accountability, and relational health, naming harmful patterns while helping partners show up from their most relational selves.
My approach is compassionate, direct, and collaborative. I support clients navigating communication breakdowns, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, boundary struggles, and power imbalances. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can speak honestly and explore the deeper emotional and relational dynamics shaping your relationships.
We move at your pace, exploring the emotional, relational, and physiological aspects of your experience. I don’t view you as broken—I see you as whole and ready to reconnect with your authentic relational self. Together, we work toward clarity, empowerment, and lasting change. Get started today.
Angie Guilbe, LMHC
LMHC, Registered Play Therapist™,
Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional
Hi, I’m Angie Guilbe. I work from the basis that you are the expert. You’re the driver and I’m the GPS on your journey to healing. I am certified in NET trauma therapy and Infant Family Mental Health.
I strive to be my client’s biggest advocate. My passion is working with children as young as infancy and their parents/caregivers. Although, I do enjoy working with all ages. Using a variety of skills and techniques, I meet each client at their development level and/or wherever they are in their journey. I’m an Army Vet for 8 years and understand the struggles that come along with service; therefore, I provide services for my military families.
For families involved in custody disputes we’ll work collaboratively to help the child(ren) involved, manage transitions, and adjust to changes. I help create timesharing plans that are for the best interest of the child(ren). As a parent, life can be chaotic, and having parental support and guidance can make situations easier to manage. Whatever your struggle, let’s work together toward a solution that works best for you.
“Where there is no [wise, intelligent] guidance, the people fall [and go off course like a ship without a helm], But in the abundance of [wise and Godly] counselors there is victory.” Proverbs 11:14 AMP (Amplified Bible)
